Willibald (Willi) Link, 86, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on August 27th, 2019.
Willi was born on January 16, 1933 in Slovakia to Willibald and Emilie Link. He is survived by brothers Frank and Stefan, daughters Vera” Kiki” Park, Lisa (Matt) Sidrevics, and Diane (Jim) Faller. Grandchildren include Will, Jennifer, Cassie, Jim, Joe, Samantha, and Tim. Great grandchildren include Haylee, Sophia, Devyn, Jayce and Isaac. He is preceded in death by his father Willibald, his mother Emilie, His sister Helne, his brother, George, his brother Karl, his sister Zita (Dominik) Klamo, and his sister-in-law Clara Link. Willi had many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

Willi grew up in Austria, later immigrating to the U.S. where he continued his studies as a master motorcycle mechanic. Willi was certified with Kawasaki, Honda and Harley but could fix anything with a throttle and became a very sought-after mechanic. He was also a very accomplished motocross racer.

Willi loved America. Becoming a U.S. citizen in 2015 was one of his proudest moments. He loved watching baseball, football and hockey, usually with a good beer in hand. His favorite thing was to host family parties at home, in his large yard, where he would teach each grandchild (and their friends) to ride a motorbike.
