Pamela Jean Bukovsky

Beloved mother, wife, and sister passed away peacefully holding her son’s hand on the night of July 12, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Lois and Ray Hearl. Pam was born August 12, 1953 in Oak Park Illinois. Pam was an amazing mother first and foremost to her only son Brandon Hearl, who has survived her. She loved him with every ounce of her being. She was always at his sports games growing up and took him to all his practices. They enjoyed all sports together and she would stay active with him when ever she could. She made the most amazing brownies that would put anyone else to shame. She will always be remembered as a Chicago Blackhawks super fan and would send a Go Hawks! text to Brandon before every game without fail as well as scoring updates. She picked the perfect sports gear every Christmas and gave the best gifts for any occasion. Many of Brandon’s friends remember her as a second mom to them and will hold a special place in their hearts for her always. Pam went to Wheeling High School where she met many life long friends. She later worked at AEC as an electrical assembler for 25+ years where she met her husband Peter Bukovsky, of 23 years. They married April 5, 1997, he survives her along with their kitties Slapshot and Misty.

Pam is preceded in death by her loving mother Lois Hearl, father Ray Hearl, biological father Ray Hansen, sisters Deborah Irene Hearl, Patti Hansen, and brother Ray Hansen.

In addition to her son Brandon Hearl and soon to be daughter-in-law Samantha Gonzalez and husband Peter Bukovsky, Pam is survived by brother Ray Hearl and sister-in-law Peggy Hearl, sister Dawn Hearl Jaseph, brother Robert Hansen and sister-in-law Donna Hansen, sister Judith Hansen Tringali and brother-in-law Tony Tringali, brother Randy Hansen and sister-in-law Kathy Hansen, and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Pam made a positive impact on so many peoples lives. She was smart, savvy, sensitive, kind and down to earth. She was a quiet observer, compassionate, forgiving and proud to have been a momma’s girl. Her beautiful smile, long blonde hair, blue eyeliner and pink lipstick will be a sweet visual memory for those she loved and that loved her. May we never forget the feeling of our last embrace, always remember the laughter we shared, the unconditional love we felt and hold dear the memories that will last forever.

Memorial services will be held at a later date due to COVID-19. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to her Go Fund Me at http://gf.me/u/yf6fxx or to her son Brandon Hearl at 450 N. Keswick Ct. Round Lake, IL 60073. All donations will be used for her cremation services, memorial service, and medical bills. If any additional funds remain, they will be donated to the American Liver Foundation.

The family would like to thank all her doctors and nurses at Northwestern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry, IL and Journey Care in Barrington, IL for your efforts and support.
