James R. Flavin, Jr., age 65 of Antioch, IL. Passed away on September 24, 2022.  He was born on May 26, 1957, in Oxnard, CA to James R. and Rosemary (Tucci) Flavin, Sr.  Jim met and married the love of his life, his wife Michele (Iovenelli) Flavin in September 1979.

Jim (Minnow) may not have been the biggest guy, but you would never know that.  He was bigger than life and touched so many lives.  He will be greatly missed by each one of us.  There is nothing he wouldn’t do for his family or friends.

Jim (Minnow) is survived by his parents Jim and Rosemary, his loving wife, Michele, his 2 children, Jennifer (David) Flavin-McClain and Nicholas (Kristina) Flavin.  His 8 grandchildren, Jayden, Nicholas, Joseph, Avea, Jace, Aria, Avery and Brooklynn. His siblings Thomas, Karen, John (Patty), Frank (Paulett) and Maggie (Pete) And many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him deeply.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 1-5pm at Northern Illinois Funeral Services 31632 N. Ellis Drive #209, Volo, IL  60073.  Please know this will be casual, Jim would have it no other way.  The Family thanks you all for your love and prayers during this most difficult time.
