Dana Gordon Houston 60, of Winthrop Harbor passed away peacefully September 29, 2020 at his home. He was a graduate of Zion Benton High School. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packer games, he loved to fish and he enjoyed to cook and make mystery meals.

Dana is survived by his loving children; son; Jason (Stacey), daughter; Melissa Middleton, son; Donny (Dawn), daughter; Crystal (Herman) Hearton, step-daughter; Amber Peltier, step-daughter; Claudia Riley, stepson; Koty Riley, Brother; Lawrence (Cathy), sister; Valerie (Tim) Evan’s, 17 grandkids, best friend Darwin Hoover, long life friend Malissa Houston.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Jerry & Mary (nee Dreghorn) Houston, brother Jerry, best friend & ex-wife Lisa Knoll.

His greatest joy was being able to watch his grandkids play baseball, football, softball, basketball, cheer or any other event they may have had going on. He was and always will be the best!

A celebration of life will be held Sunday October 11, 2020 at 3pm at the First Baptist Church in Winthrop Harbor 3001 9th St, Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096.
