Chipper E. Stohl, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away on July 19, 2019.

A memorial will be held on August 25, 2019 at Northern Illinois Funeral Services, 31632 N. Ellis Dr., Unit 209, Volo, IL 60073. Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00pm with a service at 4:00pm.

Chip was born in Chicago, IL on January 5, 1965 to Roy H. & Anita E. (Petrosky) Stohl. His wife of nearly 23 years, Kimberly D. Eaton, survives him along with two brothers and a sister. They are Douglas F. Stohl of Lake Zurich, IL; Dennis H. Stohl of Waukegan, IL; and Dawn V. (Michael) Vernola of Woodstock, IL. Nieces and nephews include David and Christina Stohl along with Joseph (Andrea) Vernola, Rachel (Nicholas) Minor, and Jacob Vernola.

Growing up on the Fox River in North Barrington, IL was nothing short of wonderful. Next door family included Viola (Gram) Petrosky, Great Aunt Bernie & Uncle Ed Duras, along with the Parker and Meissner cousins in the seasonal boathouse.

Chip was an electrician by trade as was his brother and mentor, Doug. Chip enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, remote control cars and photography.
