Nicholas Frood, age 46, of Round Lake, IL, passed away on April 14, 2025.

Nick proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and went on to become a dedicated member of the Carpenters Union. A skilled craftsman and gifted artist, Nick was known for his creativity, big heart, and infectious laughter. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and at ease, and his love for life shone through in everything he did.

He is survived by his father, Robert Frood, and his sister, Stephanie Frood, and preceded in death by his mother, Holly Frood. Nick’s caring spirit and joyful presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Sunday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jesse Oaks in Gages Lake, IL. Friends and loved ones are invited to come share stories, laughter, and memories in tribute to Nick’s remarkable life.
